Heineken Hoek handles your details with care. This statement explains which details we process, why, how long we keep them and what your rights are.

Who we are

Heineken Hoek is part of H.H. Leidseplein B.V., Leidseplein 19, 1017 PS Amsterdam, the Netherlands. We are responsible for processing your details. Questions? Email info@heinekenhoek.amsterdam.

Which details and what for

Enquiries for groups, events and celebrations. When you fill in the enquiry form, we process what you send us: your name, email address, the date, the number of guests and any details you add yourself (such as company, phone and message). We use this to answer your enquiry and make a proposal. Legal basis: steps prior to entering into a contract.

With your enquiry we also record which page and which campaign brought you to us (for example a utm code). Click IDs from advertising platforms (such as gclid or fbclid) are only included if you accepted marketing cookies.

Reservations. Table reservations go through Zenchef. Zenchef processes your reservation on our behalf; Zenchef’s privacy statement applies as well.

Contact by email or phone. We use your details to answer your question.

Website visits and cookies. We always use necessary cookies. Statistics and marketing cookies (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok) are only placed with your consent through the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time through “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.

Who helps us

We work with service providers that process details on our behalf, under agreements on security and confidentiality:

• Vercel: hosting of the website and the enquiry form
• Resend: sending the emails about your enquiry
• Supabase (servers in the EU): a backup copy of enquiries, so none ever gets lost
• Cloudflare Turnstile: spam protection on the form
• Zenchef: reservations
• Cookiebot: recording your cookie choice
• Google, Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok: statistics and advertising, only with your consent

Some of these parties are based outside the EU. In that case appropriate safeguards apply, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. We never sell your details.

How long we keep details

We keep enquiries for 12 months. If an enquiry becomes a booking, we keep the details for as long as needed to carry it out and for our legal (tax) retention obligations.

Your rights

You may access, correct or delete your details, object to their processing or withdraw consent you gave. Send your request to info@heinekenhoek.amsterdam; we will respond within one month. If you disagree with how we handle your details, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Security

We protect your details appropriately. Only staff who need them for their work have access.

Changes

We update this statement when needed. The date at the top shows when that last happened.
